All the restaurants were jammed with the Valentine’s Day crowds, so my wife and I decided to go to one of our old haunts from our college days.—A little hole-in-the-wall that serves steak sandwiches. We hadn’t been there in some time . . . but the food was just as bad as I remembered. Earlier, we tried to get in to a restaurant that had been recommended to us, but we didn’t have a ‘reservation’. I wanted to go to a movie the other night, but was uncomfortable with selling one of the cars in order to procure tickets. So, I asked my wife if she was OK with going to our small town local movie theatre where the seats are cheap. She reluctantly agreed . . . and promptly put on a pair of latex gloves! Read more..
